"Grilled French Toast w/ Rum-Spiced & Caramelized Banana Sauce"

TIME: 35MIN / COST: NEVER AGAIN MAKING A BORING BREAKFAST  / TASTES: THE FRENCH TOAST YOU’VE NEVER HAD… GRILLED & TOPPED W/ CARAMELIZED BOOZE EXTRACT.

FRENCH TOAST INGREDIENTS:
-4-6 Slices THICK Cut Bread (Use your Favorite… I elected a Brioche)
-1/2 Cup Half & Half
-4 Large Eggs (3 Whole Eggs / 1 Egg Whites)\
-1 Tspn Brown Sugar
-1 Tspn Canola Oil
-1 Tspn Vanilla Extract
-1 Tspn Cinnamon
-1 Pinch Salt
-Non-Stick 1/3 Second Spray (ie. Pam)

METHOD to the MADNESS:
-Pre-Heat Oven to 250 Degrees Farenheight (Used for Placing Cooked, but yet-to-be-served French Toast).
-Mix Eggs, 1/2&1/2, & ALL Wet/Dry Ingredients (Except Bread) into a Large Bowl & Mix THOROUGHLY.
-Begin by Dipping Bread into Egg for 10-15 Seconds per Side.
-Place Side 1 onto Large Hot Pan coated w/ a Non-Stick Spray & then Cover to maintain moisture.
-Let Side 1 of the Bread sizzle for 2-3min or until the Egg Coating BEGINS to turn golden in color.
-Flip Bread to Side 2 & While Cooking (2-3min), Apply 2 Tbspns of Raw Egg Mixture evenly over Cooked Side 1.
-Flip Bread BACK to Side 1 AGAIN.
-While Side 1 cooks AGAIN for 60-90sec, Apply 2 tbspns of Raw Egg Mixture evenly over Cooked Side 2.
-Flip Bread BACK to Side 2 AGAIN & cook for 60-90sec.
-NOW, MAGIC… Ensure the GRILL is on HIGH HEAT & Grates are HOT when Toast is applied.
-Gently lay down Toast over the Grates & allow the GRILL to bring the FLAVORS to their MAX.
-Cook Toast for 2-3min TOTAL, turning counter-clockwise 1/2 turn after 60-90sec. 


RUM-SPICED CARMELIZED BANANA SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
-1/2 Cup White Granulated Sugar
-1 Cup Heavy Whiping Cream
-1 Large Banana Chopped
-1 Tspn Rum Extract
-1/2 Tspn Cinnamon
-1 Pinch Nutmeg

METHOD to the MADNESS:
-Begin by Combining Heavy Cream, Rum Extract, Cinnamon & Nutmeg into Mixing Bowl & combine thoroughly.
-In sauce pan, simmer down Sugar on Medium Heat, but NOT stiring until Sugar starts to Carmelize. -Once Sugar begins to melt, Sitr regularly until Sugar turns golden in color.-Remove from heat & SLOWLY add Heavy Cream to melted Sugar (Sugar may Harden as Cream Bubbles).-Once combined, add Banana, place pan back on heat to simmer, & stir until ALL ingredients are combined into a smooth, creamy consistency.-Remove & let cool.

NOW… PLATE THAT FRENCH TOAST, LAY DOWN COPIOUS OF THE CARAMELIZED BANANA SAUCE & GO TO WORK ON THAT GRUB!!!
