INGREDIENTS:
-2 Cups Water (1 1/4 for Oatmeal / 3/4 for Quinoa)
-1 Cup Old Fashioned Whole-Grain Oatmeal (dry)
-1/4 Cup Quinoa (dry)
-1/3 Cup Walnuts (coarsely chopped)
-4-6 Ounces Black Berries
-1-2 Tbspns Lite Brown Sugar, or to Taste
-1-2 Tbspns Milk, or to Taste
-1 Tbspn Pure Vanilla Extract
-1/4 Tspn Cinnamon
-2 Pinches Salt (1 Pinch to Boil Oatmeal / 1 Pinch to Walnuts)
-1 Pinch Nutmeg
METHOD to the MADNESS:
-In Small/Medium Sauce Pan bring Quinoa to Boil.
-Reduce Heat, Cover, & Simmer 30min.
-After 20min Simmering… In Medium Sauce Pan bring Oatmeal, Salt, & Water to Boil.
-Reduce Heat, Cover, & Simmer 5min.
-While Simmering Oatmeal… In a DRY Skillet over High Heat - Salt & Toast until Golden Brown.
-When Quinoa / Oatmeal / Nuts are finished cooking, pull from flame & set aside.
-Into Oatmeal… Mix Thoroughly Quinoa, Vanilla Extract, Sugar & Nutmeg.
-Add 1 Tbspn of Milk at a time until Desired Consistency Reached.
-Stir in Walnuts, then Blackberries, & Sprinkle Cinnamon.
-Plate, Serve, & Start your Morning like a CHAMPION!!
